FIRST Wisconsin Advocacy Day

FIRST Wisconsin Advocacy Day is an event where FIRST teams from around the state meet with their local legislators to advocate for more funding. Teams lobby their respective legislators to increase the DPI Robotics League Participation Grant. It is a great opportunity for students to help make an impact around the state while practicing skills like public speaking. BadgerBOTS had 9students in attendance, with 8 being first-time attendees and 6 being rookies. These students came from 6 assembly districts and 3 senate districts, totaling 9 different legislators the team met with.
